Beach week...with Pictures

Another week closer to the start of school.  I love back to school time BUT I'm not ready yet.  So let me share the fun we had last week...
We were at  the beach with the WHOLE family for a WHOLE week!

It was so fun,
so loud
and so memorable!

OH and Tyler turned 10 at the beach.  He is growing up so fast.  God has big plans for that kid!!

Dylan and Devin (Ty's cousin) decorated this tree as Tyler's birthday tree

This boy LOVES sand

Dylan's favorite past time besides swimming out to the dock, collecting sea creatures, and building sand castles. This is my beach kid!

His first beach towel...and it had a monkey on it!

Who doesn't love baby toes with sand on them?!?!
And this was my quiet place! This is the only reason I like the beach. I love to sit here in the morning!  This I will miss...
Till next year!

Last but certainly not least we recieved word that Mason's medical insurance request was denied. And while we are bummed it now means all the paperwork has been sent to the courts and we now just wait for a date. Hopefully by the end of August I can share REAL pictures...of his face!
I dream of the day when that judge pronounces Mason Peter as part of our family forever!
Then we celebrate (and post LOTS of pictures)...
Can't Wait!!

Practicing for the beach

We are preparing for our annual trip to the beach!  Last year I did a lot of wondering about when our precious baby would be here.  This year he's here!!

I can't wait to introduce Mason to this tradition and all that comes with it!!

He was practicing this week!

It's Summer...

You would think I would blog more but I don't have anything compelling to say!
We still wait.
We still enjoy.
We still miss.
We still question.
We still pray.
We still wait.

You get the picture.  We are enjoying our summer and all the "firsts" that Mason is experiencing.  I have said to myself quite a few times over the last week, "this time last year, we were waiting, and hoping, and praying that this time next year our baby would be here."  And he is!!
I have been told over and over again how lucky we were to have the process go so fast.  It didn't seem fast when we were going through it but looking back I can see just how blessed we were.

Lucky Blessed us!!
We love you, Masi!
